  18. When you share a CD-ROM drive and connect to it from a Windows for
  19. Workgroups client and you run the DIR * command from a subdirectory of the
  20. CD-ROM, the directory listing does not include the double dot (..) entry
  21. that represents the parent directory.

  23. This behavior does not affect functionality, but when you use this command
  24. in LAN Manager, MS-DOS, or Windows for Workgroups, the directory listing
  25. does include the entry for the parent directory.

  30. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  31. Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post
  32. new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
  33. available.
